2005 IRAQ
FIRST MISSION

I could not have asked for a better first deployment.
My platoon was solid, and our timing was impeccable.

Granted half of the deployment was spent on the advance team on a security detail, the other half was three solid months conducting direct action raids.

PHILIPPINES

2006 PHILIPPINES
SECOND MISSION

My second deployment was both equally boring and bizarre. I found myself on the remote Island of Jolo in the Sulu province of the Philippines. For three months I fought roosters, trained with our partner force, and dealt with the hazards of my platoon mate having apet monkey.

The last three months of that deployment were spent at the Shangri-La Mactan resort in the City of Cebu setting up training events that rarely ever came to fruition, so most days were spent playing beach volleyball and working out. Boring but hard to complain.

AFGHANISTAN

2008-2010
FEARLESS ENEMY

I did two deployments to Afghanistan and those deployments were nothing like the first two. The team I was there with were precise and meticulous, each operator better than the next.

The environment was mountainous. The enemy was fearless. I learned more and grew more on those deployments than any other time in my life.

SAN DIEGO

2010-2012
INSTRUCTOR

I was fortunate enough to be an instructorat SEAL Qualification Training. I quickly learned that just because I was good at something, (that something being CQC) didn’t mean I was good at teaching it.

After failing miserably on my first day as an instructor, I dedicated as much time as I could to become the best instructor I could be. In the end it paid off and I’ve received positive feedback from both students and fellow instructors since.

EVERYWHERE

2012-2019

After I left the military, I embarked on numerous different adventures; escorting container ships through the red sea, joining the active reserves, deploying to the Republic of South Korea and taking jobs as a free-lance mercenary and eventually landing in a Serbian prison.

U.S.A

2019-2024

I did one last job not thirty days after the Serbia incident. From there I hung around San Diego trying to figure out what to do next.

I took a finance job, then started a shooting school, and eventually wrote a book.
